It takes only 45 minutes from Tanah Merah ferry terminal to Bintan ferry terminal. The sea was perfectly calm but anyhow the ferry still swayed every now and then and made people threw up anyhow. Bad.. But I guessed it’s quite easy to get sick on a boat unless you keep you focus point on somewhere far far away, like the horizon in the picture.

It was really gloomy and was raining when we got onto the island. It’s kind-of the opposite to Singapore as rain only comes down in the late afternoon. But anyway this didn’t seem to be a bad case because…. the we would be sitting down in a hall listening to presentation once we got to Bintan Lagoon Resort. It’s better to rain first and cool down the weather.

Alright.. So we were there at the resort and welcomed by a blast of music..

Presentations like this is so cool and so effective. It’s short and sweet and able to get the message across fast. Wish I can have this everyday..haha….

SIgN bintan retreat -20 The beach is NICE! little waves.. warm sands.. great people.. And after so long since the last time I played football and volleyball. Never did I imagine that I would be playing alongside with scientists from around the world.. Great.. And they do have better stamina than I. 惭愧..

The sun was going down soon. Dinner was at a very very nice place! Argh… too bad I didn’t bring along my camera…
